Posted on | 2009-11-03
Back To Home
6 Reasons why Links rocks:
1. Links manages downloads - Lynx doesn't
2. Links can block popups - Lynx doesn't
3. Links is faster
4. Links has add blocking features
5. Links can parse Javascript
6. Links supports frames
2 Reasons why Lynx rocks:
1. Lynx supports ipv6 (Links doesn't)
2. Lynx does usenet (and even gopher)
For the rest of it, both manage bookmarks and both are easy to use
and both are GPL - so I guess they are both cool
Of course Lynx is older (1993) than Links (1999), more established and many
more people just know how it works
