I guess the banner at says it all, empowering all people
to freely connect, create and share in a digital world
that is participatory, transparent and sustainable...
Thousands of pamphlets were handed out and we spoke to
hundreds of people personally. Also there were many many
business requests ranging from servers to migration of
a very large company to Linux on the Desktop...
We grew the Randburg Linux Users group by adding at
least 10 new members
The donation from the School of Information Technology
at North West University was put to very good use and
we handed out Open Education Disks to one and all
Software freedom Day 2009 was a fantastic success
